Green Bean Casserole

3 bags - Frozen French cut green beans
2 cans - Mushroom soup
1 tsp. - Lowry's Season Salt
1/2 cup - Sour Cream
1/4 cup - Milk
1 cup - Grated cheddar cheese
1/2 large can - French's French Fried Onions


1/4 cup - Slivered almonds
1/2 cup - Mushrooms
1 small can - Water chestnuts


  • Bring green beans to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes Drain the water from the green beans.

  • Place all the ingredients, including your choice of one of the options above, in a large bowl and mix together until well blended.

  • Spray pan with Pam and put in the green bean mixture. The green been mixture should be in a pan big enough to give the mixture about 2 inches to 3 inches in depth

  • Bake at 365 degrees for approximately 45 minutes or until heated through and bubbly.

  • Just before removing from the oven, sprinkle the French Fried Onions on top and bake until golden brown.

10-12 Servings
